Welcome intern Laura MacKenzie!

Laura brings a commitment for creating accessible and resilient urban public space to Assemblage. Her interest in long-term sustainability makes her passionate about projects that center material circularity and adaptive reuse as a driving principle. Laura also enjoys learning about local histories and art that can be incorporated into the design process, as her design for the Brooklyn Marine Terminal demonstrates. Laura received her BLA from Cornell University in 2025. We are excited to have her aboard!
