Bits of NYC! Paver Prototype

This video highlights our latest exploration in material reclamation. Together with with Field Form and Sunnyside Masonry, Assemblage is finding innovative ways to reuse recycled concrete aggregate, a demolition product, in new forms in the landscape. In this project we designed and fabricated new pavers that look like terrazzo. Reusing this aggregate keeps it out of the waste stream and preserves a bit of history - every paver contains a little bit of NYC!
